Search Socialisation

Ranking on page one of Google search results has been critical to many businesses. Now the search results landscape is changing. Once optimising a site with keywords and search terms (SEO) did the trick. Now Google spyders are looking for how much your product or services are followed and liked by your community.

Links to your site through social networks, social profiles, directories, forums and blogs tell a story of how much you are liked in your community. Search results will know give preference to real life and behavioural links and connections that make sense. Socialisation is about mapping the real online social behaviour of your audience. Google search is treating these sources as authoritative opinion leaders in their ranking criteria.
